For centuries China has been a source of endless fascination and confusion to the West.

The Hidden China is a one-hour documentary that allows the viewer behind the scenes access to a China that is rapidly changing from a state run disaster, into the world’s most powerful economy. Tag along with Jim Trippon, who runs the largest independent investment research firm in Mainland China, as he takes 25 ordinary Americans to see a China that no one has ever told them existed.

The Hidden China explores where China has been over the past 50 years and examines why it is destined to replace the US as the world’s economic powerhouse much sooner than most Westerners realize.

The documentary incorporates recently declassified US Government film shot during the Nixon trip to China (and Henry Kissinger’s quiet China diplomacy) along with on camera visits to areas forbidden to American journalists.

The viewer gets an overview of the major cities of China including Hong Kong, Macau, Shenzhen, Xi'an, Shanghai, and Beijing and learns how the products manufactured in these cities have impacted the environment in the US and have also eroded the existence of The Industrial World’s middle class.

Jim Trippon recently hosted The Hidden China movie premier featuring guest from the Chinese Consulate General’s office. The event hosted over 250 investors and clients from the Houston, Texas area.
